Hi there

Hi, I'm Mariana Calisto.

I am a medical doctor specialised in Psychiatry and licensed in Brazil. For the past four years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in private practice, helping people navigate life's emotional challenges with empathy, curiosity, and evidence-based guidance. Today, I live in Berlin, where I am pursuing my doctoral research at the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Throughout my career, I have developed a special interest in women's mental health, ADHD, LGBTQIA+ mental health, and child development. I have also completed additional studies in feminism and psychoanalytic theory, which continue to enrich the way I understand people's stories and experiences.

Every person who comes to me has a different story. For that reason, I don't believe in a "one-size-fits-all" approach. My work combines practical, evidence-informed strategies with thoughtful conversations that help you better understand yourself, your relationships, and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

With children, I use play as a natural way to build trust, encourage emotional expression, and strengthen social and emotional skills. With adults, my focus is on creating a calm, respectful space where you can reflect, gain clarity, and develop practical tools to face everyday challenges with greater confidence. I believe that seeking support shouldn't feel intimidating. It should feel like having a safe place where you are heard without judgment, where your experiences are respected, and where change can happen at your own pace. I would be honoured to be part of your journey.
